Kathryn “Allison” Armes, 70, left this life prematurely, yet peacefully.
Allison graduated from Warren County High School and later attended UT Knoxville. She spent her employment years with Bass, Berry & Sims law firm, where she made several lifelong friends. She also kept close ties with her Knoxville group that she lovingly referred to as “the hens.”
Throughout her retirement years, Allison and her friends enjoyed countless adventures. They shared in her passions for travel, fine foods, cooking, shopping, and the arts. Allison also enjoyed decorating and cooking for holidays, reading, crafting & collecting antiques. She also had a deep affection for all animals and her faith. Her quick wit, sass & quirkiness always brought a laugh & she will be remembered with love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ken & Marie (Hunt) Armes, and her sister, Jana (Armes) Ward.
Allison leaves behind her brother, Bryan (Renee) Armes, nephew, Justin (Ashlee) Armes; niece, Rachel (James) Ray, and two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Allison’s honor to your local Women’s Health Center, Women’s Oncology Research/Center, or an animal rescue of your choice.
